Accessibility

Our goal

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including with a disability or with aids such as a screen reader, magnification or only a keyboard. We aim to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

This statement was drawn up by Wisman Techniek itself. An independent accessibility audit has not yet been carried out.

What we do

• Headings, lists and tables use the correct HTML structure.
• Images that carry information have a text alternative.
• Menus, search and forms can be operated with the keyboard.
• Animations are reduced if you have set your device to reduce motion.
• The site works on phone, tablet and desktop, and the text can be enlarged.

Known limitations

Not everything on the site is fully accessible yet. This is what we know:

• Drawings in the configurators. The cross-sections and layouts in the cable carrier configurator, ChainLogic and the dress pack configurator are drawings. A screen reader cannot read them out in full, and dragging in the drawing only works with a mouse or touch. The results and parts lists are given as text next to the drawing.
• PDF reports. Reports you download from the configurators are not tagged for screen readers.
• Video. The background video on the homepage has no sound and no subtitles; it contains no information that is not also on the page as text.
• Third-party content. We do not control the manufacturers’ product photos and datasheets or the Google Maps map ourselves.

Running into this? Please contact us and we will help you another way, for example by phone or email.
