In motion for longer.Less strain.

Sustainable cable management starts with a cable carrier that fits and lasts a long time. We also pay attention to what we consume and throw away ourselves, and we work with manufacturers who measure, report and reduce their emissions.

01 · What we do ourselves

Sustainability starts
in Ruurlo.

Stock, assembly and service are all under one roof with us. There we keep an eye on the energy we use and on what is left over after a job.

Solar panels on our building

There are solar panels on the roof of our building in Ruurlo. This way we generate part of the electricity for the office, warehouse and workshop ourselves.

Green energy

The electricity we buy in addition is green electricity. This means the assembly and testing of cable carriers also runs on sustainable energy.

Plastic and steel separated

We separate residual material from assembly and replaced cable carriers by type. Plastic and steel go separately for recycling, so that they become raw material again.

02 · Lasting longer

The most sustainable product
is the product that keeps running.

Every cable carrier that does not need replacing also does not need to be made, transported and disposed of. That is where the biggest gain lies for your machine.

  1. 01

    Well chosen

A cable carrier that suits the stroke length, speed and load wears less. We check every configuration before you order it.

  2. 02

    Well maintained

Inspection lets you see wear coming. That way you replace a part in good time, instead of the entire installation after a failure.

  3. 03

    Repair where possible

Individual links, crossbars and end brackets are available separately. A damaged carrier can often be repaired without replacing everything.

03 · Our manufacturers

Measured, reported
and with targets.

Most of a cable carrier's emissions arise during its manufacture. That is why we choose manufacturers who take this seriously. All figures come from their own publications.

More about Tsubaki Kabelschlepp

Our main manufacturer publishes its own sustainability report. The figures below come from the report on 2023 and relate to the site in Wenden-Gerlingen (Germany), where the cable carriers are developed and made.

Climate

  • Target: 42% less CO₂ in scope 1 and 2 and 25% less in scope 3 by 2030, compared with 2021.
  • Climate-neutral production well before 2045.
  • Residual heat from production heats the buildings; natural gas consumption fell from 594.730 kWh (2018) to 212.762 kWh (2023).
  • A large solar installation on the halls, planned for up to 380.000 kWh per year.

Raw materials

  • In 2023, 112 of the 133 tonnes of plastic production waste was reprocessed.
  • Up to 35% regranulate in the products; for a number of series, 100% recycled plastic is possible.
  • Aluminium, stainless steel, steel and cables are collected separately and fully recycled.
  • Introduction of environmental standard DIN EN ISO 14001 prepared in 2023.

Product

  • Steel cable carriers last for decades and are fully recyclable at the end of their life.
  • Designed for low wear: longer service life, less replacement and fewer wear particles.
  • Attention to RoHS and REACH, no conflict minerals and lead-free materials.
  • A customer is still using a drilling machine from 1969 with its original steel cable carriers.

Reiku from Wiehl (Germany) makes protective hoses and systems for robots. It is part of the international DELFINGEN group, which sets targets for all companies in the group and has them externally assessed.

Planet

  • Less waste, more recyclable products and more recycled material in the raw materials.
  • Responsible sourcing: the supply chain must not finance armed groups or human rights abuses.
  • Received in 2025: the French label for responsible supplier relations and procurement (RFAR).

People

  • Target: zero workplace accidents at all sites.
  • A Decent Work Charter since 2007: the same safety everywhere, equal pay for equal work.
  • Ongoing training and development of employees.

Integrity

  • A code of conduct for partners and suppliers.
  • An anti-corruption code and a strict policy on gifts.
  • A confidential reporting line (Integrity Line), also for external parties.

3.3 · Definitions

Scope 1 and 2
A manufacturer's own emissions: fuel, gas and purchased energy.
Scope 3
Emissions in the rest of the chain, such as raw materials, transport and use.

Figures and targets are the manufacturers' own and may have been updated in more recent publications.
