About the series
About the S/SX Tubes Series
The S/SX Tubes is the fully covered version of the steel S/SX cable carrier. The closed steel design protects the cable package to the maximum and is built for heavy loads and extreme environments. Applications include heavy industry, mining, offshore, steel production and transport and hoisting systems.

- The S/SX Tubes comes in 4 types: S/SX0650 Tubes, S/SX0950 Tubes, S/SX1250 Tubes, S/SX1800 Tubes.
- Sizes
- The inner height ranges from 30 to 104 mm, the inner width from 65 to 938 mm. You choose the inner width per type within that range.
- Bending radius
- The bending radius ranges from 115 to 1,300 mm.
- Pitch
- The pitch is 65 to 180 mm.
- Cables
- The largest type takes cables up to 83 mm in diameter.
- Travel length
- The travel length is up to 17.8 m, depending on type, additional load and installation.
- Open
- The links cannot be opened; the cables are inserted before installation.
- Environment
- According to the type data, the series is suitable for use with swarf, for heavy duty, in marine environments.
