Your cable list in.The entry and article numbers out of it.
For each cable enter the quantity and the outer diameter. The planner works with 164 entry plates, 6 sizes of entry grommet and 69 EMC clamps from the range and draws what your cabinet wall looks like.
1. Which cables go through?
Per line: number of cables with the same outer diameter.
- A
2. How do they pass through the wall?
Applies to cables without a plug. Cables with a plug each get their own round hole.

Number and outer diameter are enough. The planner selects entry plates, grommets and EMC clamps and shows what your cabinet wall will look like.
How it works
How the planner calculates
Only with the dimensions from the product data of Detas Ultra. Anything not included there is shown by the planner as on request.
All cable entries- Cables without plug
- They pass through an entry plate with membranes. Each plate has a fixed layout of openings per Ø range (1.8 to 26 mm). The planner finds the combination with the fewest plates and as few empty openings as possible, and puts each cable in the smallest opening it fits.
- Cables with plug
- Get a split DES PDP cable entry grommet in a dedicated metric hole (M25 to M75, cable Ø 2.5 to 64 mm). If you enter the connector size, the planner picks a hole the connector fits through.
- Shielded cables
- Get an EMC clamp on the rail or module you choose, with the smallest clamping range that fits. The clamping range applies to the stripped shield, not the outer sheath.
- What the planner does not do
- Split frames and glands are put together with loose entry grommets; we prepare that layout for you on request. The drawing is schematic: the actual position of the openings is in the datasheet.
