Cable carriers for the stage technology of Theater Winterthur, together with DTS2

Above the stage of Theater Winterthur, the stage technology moves up and down. The cables for that technology have to follow every movement. A theatre is an environment where reliability and precision are essential: the technology has to work the moment it is needed, including during a performance.

Here, the cable carriers hang vertically above the stage. A hanging arrangement like this calls for a design that suits the movement and matches the technical requirements of the project precisely.

Together with DTS2, we selected and engineered the right design, so that everything matches the technical requirements of the project. Wisman Techniek handled the engineering and supplied the cable carriers from Tsubaki Kabelschlepp.

In our workshop in Ruurlo, the carriers were filled with the cables. That way they were shipped to Winterthur complete.

A great collaboration, with its share of challenges, but above all a result we are proud of. The cable carriers hang above the stage of Theater Winterthur and follow the stage technology with every movement up and down.
