Cable entry frames.Dozens of cables, one neat opening.

A cable entry frame bundles all cables that have to enter a cabinet in one rectangular cut-out. It is split, so cables with a connector simply drop in. With cable grommets per cable the whole is sealed and every cable gets strain relief.

Assembly
Split frame + freely positionable entry grommets

The frame consists of a split housing in which you place entry rubbers freely: single, double, quadruple or as a break-through blind rubber for later. After closing, the frame clamps the rubbers in place. This gives a seal against dust and water and strain relief on every cable at the same time.

The DES frames are available in compact, elongated and square versions and in a 90° version for right-angle entry. With any combination of grommets, IP66 / NEMA 4X is achieved; the system is fully self-extinguishing to V0.

When

When do you choose cable entry frames?

01Many cables in one place
Instead of a row of glands, a single cut-out. Faster to install and clearer for service.
02Cables with connectors
The frame is split: pre-assembled cables go in complete, with no cutting.
03Sealing matters
IP66 and strain relief in one, even with varying cable diameters.
04Expansion expected
Blind grommets keep space free for cables that are added later.

How to choose

From cable list to the right model

Send your cable list. We choose the model and size and check that everything fits.

Send your cable list
  1. 01Make a cable list

Number of cables, outer diameters and which have a connector. We use that to choose the entry grommets.

  2. 02Choose the frame size

Compact (DES 10), elongated (L series), square (Q) or large (16 and 24). The size follows from the number of grommets.

  3. 03Straight or right-angled

Do the cables need to run straight down along the cabinet wall? Then the DES 24-90 with angled entry.

  4. 04Keep space free

Plan one or two blanking grommets for future cables; that avoids a second cut-out later.
