A cable entry plate replaces a row of glands with one plate with membranes. You pierce the membrane, push the cable through, and the second membrane provides strain relief and sealing. Faster to fit and more economical than separate glands.

Each opening in the plate has two membranes. The front membrane is pierced and closes around the cable; the second membrane clamps the cable and gives extra strain relief and a high IP rating. Nothing needs to be tightened.
There are rectangular plates for a standard cut-out, square and compact versions, round plates for metric holes (M20 to M63) and Clean versions made of FDA-approved material for food and pharma. For cables with a connector there are the DES PDP grommets up to M75.

From cable list to the right model

Rectangular plates fit a standard cut-out; the M versions fit metric holes from M20 to M63.
02Count cables per diameter class
Each plate has a fixed layout of openings per diameter range. The table shows the number and Ø per model.
03Choose colour and material
Grey or black, and the Clean version for hygienic environments.
04Connector on the cable?
Then a DES PDP entry grommet, or a split frame or cable gland.
